College Access Programs (CAP) aim to ensure that students of all backgrounds have equal access to opportunities. We provide you with the personalized support you may need to achieve your educational goals. Students are assigned a success coach dedicated to providing academic and personal support, connecting you to resources, and walking with you every step of the way.

TRIO/CCP programs support students who are working to earn a degree at Chemeketa and are enrolled in or planning to enroll in at least six credits. We serve students all the way through their educational journey at Chemeketa.
– Academic advising, personal and career coaching
– Development and tracking of your personalized college success plan
– Tuition-free success classes – CG100, FYE105, SLD101 & CG225
– Assistance with scholarship, FAFSA & ORSAA financial aid applications
– Access to our computer resource center & free printing
– Access to our calculator and textbook lending library
– Individualized tutoring in math, science, writing and many other courses
– Study groups, math initiative and instructor Q&A sessions
– University transfer advising, campus information and tours
– Cultural events, community service and leadership opportunities

CAMP – The College Assistance Migrant Program supports students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds during their first year in college.

– Quarterly stipends & transportation assistance
